I’ve noticed some application errors that are specific to Blackberry users when any form is submitted (i.e. a calculation is submitted).

I’ve found that the Blackberry device helpfully appends each select option with a trailing space, so if you select “Tartaric” from a drop-down menu, what is submitted to the application is “Tartaric ” (notice the trailing space).

I sometimes find myself having to convert between different units of measure, like converting cubic inches to gallons, psi to bars or ounces to grams.

It’s an easy task to find the conversions and do the math, but this is the kind of things that computers do best, so why burden ourselves?

No site is complete without an iPhone-optimized site, and WineAdds.com is no exception.

When you visit WineAdds.com on your iPhone or iPod Touch you are served a special iPhone-optimized version that looks, feels and works like an app. Since it’s running in your Safari browser it is free and can be bookmarked and launched from your home screen like a native app.

Long story short: WineAdds.com now supports Internet Explorer 6 (IE6). W00t!

Until recently users who tried to come to WineAdds using IE6 were greeted with a page saying they’re browser wasn’t compatible, with some helpful suggestions for upgrading.

This post is coming a few days late (since this blog is a few days older than WineAdds), so forgive our tardiness.

We’d however like to celebrate the launching of WineAdds.com with the launch of its blog, not-creatively titled “WineAdds blog”.
